Inclusion has been part of our DNA since 1931 when Frank Weil, Sylvan Gotshal, and Horace Manges founded Weil after many doors were closed to them simply because they were Jewish. We pride ourselves on being an outspoken leader in cultivating an inclusive culture.
Commitment to Service: Service has always been a cornerstone of Weil’s culture, and it is best demonstrated through our commitment pro bono, social responsibility and Weil Foundation efforts. Every lawyer at Weil is required to perform 50 hours of pro bono each year, with the Firm committing over 1 million pro bono hours since 2005. Lawyers volunteer for pro bono matters based on the issues that matter most to them.
The Weil Foundation: 2023 marked the 40th anniversary of the Weil Foundation, whose charitable contributions along with those of the Firm have totaled over $120 million since 1983. Since its inception, the Weil Foundation has aligned philanthropic contributions and social responsibility programs with hundreds of nonprofit organizations annually, as well as embedded a culture of service at the Firm.
We’re eager to connect with you. Contact recruiting representatives from each of our offices, and follow us on LinkedIn and Instagram to stay up-to-date on all things Weil.
