About the Program
The MillerKnoll summer internship program allows students to experience life at a major furniture design firm firsthand. In addition to a summer-long project and real work for the company, interns will have one-on-one sessions with mentors and learning sessions with company leaders. There are also company-wide and intern-specific events to bolster interns’ professional networks. A housing stipend is available for non-local students.
About the Company
MillerKnoll is the parent company of several brands, most notably the furniture designer Herman Miller. The company does business largely under this name. Herman Miller created many of the modern era’s most recognizable pieces of furniture, including the Aeron chair (the office chair of choice for dot-com boom tech companies), the Eames chair, the Noguchi table, and the Marshmallow sofa, among others.
